This few days’ weather is killing me. It’s so darn hot and I’m sweating all the time. My friends came over to my place last night. All of the sudden they come up with the idea of wanting to stay overnight, so they stayed. Was looking at some of the funny video clips I collected but then suddenly, everything turned pitch black. It’s not the first time this has happened, but too often I would say. The electricity got cut off and usually it would come back in like 15 mins. So we decided to wait… and wait… Things got so stuffy after 15mins of waiting and I have to open up my windows risking that I would trigger the security alarm and wake up the whole neighbourhood. But everything outside was pitch black either. Luckily I got my emergency lantern with me. So, we turned on the lantern and mp3 from one of my friend’s handphone.

1 hour passed and yet no sign of recovery. Things are getting so steamy and hot because all 4 of us are sweating nonstop and I especially started to smell bad. What worst was we have got nothing to do. To solve our boredom, I brought in some playing cards and started to ‘chor ti’. We end up playing until morning at 6 am when finally the electricity resumed. It was fun cause this was the first time I played cards for one whole night without sleeping. But it was impossible for us to sleep in that hot and sweaty conditions. I think I have luck in darkness because I won quite a number of times, but too bad it doesn’t involve any money. Just for fun only.

All four of us went to bed in blankets in the morning soon after I turned on my aircond to full swing. It was so funny to see them so relieved once the aircond was back working. Felt so sorry to let them suffer in such hot conditions with me, but if they weren’t here, I really wonder how am I going to endure the night by myself. Maybe God sends them to me. Sorry guys, if you regret coming over yesterday night instead of enjoying at your own home.

Have to meet a long lost friend tomorrow. Hope things won’t get awkward as it has been so long since we last met. Hopefully the burning weather will subside as I really can’t take it anymore for not staying inside the aircond room and please don’t cut off the electricity again you stupid Tenaga.
