I’ll be losing my Streamyx broadband connection for the next few days as they finally realize if they can’t give me an upgrade, it’s better for me to end my current subscription and re-apply a new subscription which is the idea I suggested to them few months back. Since from what they say it’s easier for them to provide those new user with 1mbps connection rather than upgrade. Been paying for 5 months or more for the service I’m not getting. 5xRM22 = RM110. They should refund my RM110 for the extra payment. TM new branding, really sucks. What’s the use changing the brand if you can’t provide the service you pledged?
Truth is, I think it’s total nonsense, what do you mean by it’s difficult to upgrade than providing the new user with 1Mbps connection? If it’s so difficult, why don’t you suggest all your user to stop their subscription and re-apply? Did anyone of you checked whether you get the upgrade promised? or else, you have been paying for the service you are not getting. Still, reapply a new account and stop the current one is really double work, think of the paperwork involved. Why don’t you just upgrade it, I don’t think it’s really that difficult right? Some of my friend said their problem are solved in just a phonecall. Is this all really necessary?
I emailed and after 7 emails, they said my problem is in the midst of retifying. Giving me tons of lame reason saying that my modem Aztech DSL 350E doesn’t support 1Mbps connection where hell ya my modem does support it. And if I happened to be wrong, then you should change me another modem since this is the modem you given me. How can you say the modem you given me doesn’t support the service you promised to give? Man, this is making my blood rages.
Oh, btw, after saying my problem is in the midst of rectifying one month ago, my problem is not solved at all until this very moment. And I’m really sick and tired of email them as they would ask me to call in their so called support line instead. After I called, they would told me that “We will lodge a report” instead of “We will get it fix”. Since so many report has been lodged, why on earth am I still at the 512kbps connection. My download even sucks more after the last month down incident. FUCK TM! Don’t talk to me as if I’m in the wrong for blaming you for not giving me the service I pay for. I’ve called them from January till April until I’m sick of telling them the same thing over and over again. Since calling in is more effective, where on earth is my upgrade??? Giving them the last chance to solve it or else, something really has to be done.
Going down to Penang to get my Leo Proficiency Award. The function is held at Cititel Hotel Penang at around 1 afternoon tomorrow. Have to be in my formal uniform again. Tomorrow’s award is going to cost me my one day pay as I’m taking leave from my work. Anyway, hope I get to enjoy my trip to Penang.
