Drifting

i know this might sound crazy, but i wish to drift using my car. i love the speed when i’m driving and now i wish i could drift. anyone out there drift? i’ve just been to drift.com.my but i’m not sure whether my old junkie could do drifting. anyway, any drifter out there, give me some guide… ;)

  1. i’ve been in drift.com.my (DCM) for quite some time.. wanted to join a beginner’s clinic next saturday (30th april) at shah alam stadium but can’t make it on that day. perhaps u could drop by n meet the guys.. i’m sure they’ll be happy to haf a new drifter.. i’m using the nick temujin in DCM by the way.. whut car r u drivin? first rule is to get a rear wheel drive (RWD) car before u can actually drift properly.. cheers :)

  2. To drift (safely) 1st you need a rear-wheel drive car. Front-wheel drive can drift but it will be just “dragging” your rear wheel with the use of handbrake. Good cars to drift are like RX-7 and BMW 3-series.

    But supposedly any rear-wheel drive car can drift when you apply power during a corner. Though 4wd are also known to be able to drift, but you need lots of power and you have to really put the pedal to the metal to drift with a 4wd. Anyway, that’s my 2 cents

  3. You need a rear-wheel drive.

    Strong “gandar”(don’t know what in English)

    Good wheel turning angle? Usually, those drift cars can do these crazy wheel angle
